Ce sac polyvalent est doté d’un ingénieux système de boutons-pression qui lui permet de se rétrécir ou de s’agrandir selon vos besoins (ou votre laine !). Que vous transportiez quelques pelotes ou assez pour un pull (ou trois !), le Sac Telescopic est là pour vous accompagner.

Ce sac fabuleux, doublé, tient debout grâce à ses « pieds » métalliques qui protègent le fond, possède une large ouverture sans zip ni accrocs, ainsi que des poches intérieures pour organiser vos essentiels. La sangle en cuir réglable vous permet de trouver l’ajustement parfait et se détache des deux côtés pour faciliter le pliage ou le déploiement du sac. Sous la coque extérieure supérieure, vous trouverez quatre boutons-pression discrets pour sécuriser le sac en position déployée. Une fois replié, d’autres boutons-pression à l’intérieur permettent de resserrer proprement la doublure en tissu.

As someone who likes to be minimal with my knitting supplies, this bag was so perfect! The regular size fits my small projects and a book (and more to be honest) BUT when it’s expanded I can fit a sweater in progress and a couple smaller projects like socks and toques! Perfect for road trips or a weekend away! Thread maple does it again :)

Big enough for any project and then some

I bought this as a tote to travel with all of my knitting projects. On my most recent trip, I had 7 cakes of yarn, a notions bag and two WIPs in the bag (4 of the cakes were for a shawl, 1 cake for a hat, and two more cakes if I got bored with my two WIPs). It carried it all, no problem. Thanks to the telescoping design, I was also able to carry two t shirts and a sweatshirt on top of my knitting. Has been very durable so far (and I have not treated it gently at times. Biggest investment I’ve ever made in a project bag, but I am so happy with it.

Does the binder fit in the bag? With room for yarn?

We are hoping to have them back within the next 4-6 weeks. The tannery from which we source our cream leather was bombarded a few months back and we haven't been able to secure an alternative matching shade, which is why all our accessories with cream leather are either low or out of stock at the moment. But we finally found another option and expect to have the leather on hand within 2 weeks (then just need some time for production and shipping). Almost there!

Is the strap long enough to wear the bag as a crossbody? It’s a stunning bag!

Thank you so much — we’re glad you love the bag! The strap length is about 80 cm, which is a bit short for wearing as a crossbody. It’s designed more for shoulder or hand carry.

The chocolate color looks quite dark in the pictures. Do you have an outside picture of it? I'm just concerned it's a bit too dark for me.

How secure are the tote straps? I had a large tote from another company that caught on a door hinge and the strap ripped away from the bag very easily. Are they reinforced? If they do rip away can they be repaired easily?

If a strap were to tear, the bag’s construction allows for relatively straightforward repairs, either through a local leather repair shop or with our assistance. Let us know if you have any other concerns! Additionally, there is one year warranty on defects or malfunctioning.

Hi Jennifer, The Boxy Tote measures 30cm x 19cm x 25cm (L x W x H, excluding straps) with an arm drop of 24cm. In comparison, this bag is slightly longer and taller, measuring 40cm x 15cm x 27cm when collapsed (40cm expanded), with an adjustable arm drop of 28-37cm and a maximum strap length of 80cm. It also features two inner pockets for added functionality.
