If you'll be using the envelope as gift wrap for your hand-knit: hats, socks, mittens, baby items, and fingering-weight or finer cowls and shawls will fit beautifully. If you're not sure, here's a good way to gauge whether your item will fit:

1. Place an A4 (8.5 x 11") piece of paper on a flat surface
2. Fold your knitted item and place it on top of the paper, so that there is about 1/2" of white showing behind it on all sides
3. Measure the height of the folded piece. If it's 3" or less, you're good!

Each envelope comes with two detachable leather tags: one beautifully scripted tag reads "Handmade with Love" for the gift-givers out there. The second is embossed with the Thread & Maple logo.

This beautiful classic blanket, knit with our Natur worsted weight yarn, is the product of our first collaboration with Veronaknits.�Sasha Hyre (aka�@veronaknits) is a talented designer and knitter extraordinaire, whom we're lucky enough to have on our T&M team.�

She's incorporated�both a horizontal and vertical garter stitch to this simple design, to add stylish dimension and a new twist to the traditional cable.

The pattern includes sizing for a small baby blanket (4 skeins), as well as a larger throw (6 skeins), however it can be easily adapted to any size.

There are over 100K mastectomies in the US+Canada each year. �Prosthetics are expensive, hot and heavy, requiring a special bra; Knitted Knockers are soft, lightweight and huggable, no special bra required. As of July 2023, 560,000 hand-knit/crochet breast prostheses have been given to women FREE, thanks to Knitted Knockers.

To make & donate breast prosthetics, you must use a special yarn from a pre-approved list. This is to ensure that it's been tried and tested to not irritate sensitive post-surgery skin. This holiday season, we're delighted to offer these miniature needle felted llama sculptures, festive and adorable in equal measure! Artistically handcrafted in Peru, using certified alpaca fiber, these little crias are a perfect treat for knitters and fiber lovers. Each proudly stands 5.5" tall and comes with a hand-knit miniature hat (complete with ear holes for maximum cuteness). Finished with a loop, it can be hung as an ornament or may stand and graze if it pleases.

Please note that each piece is unique with slight variations, due to the hand crafting process. You may select the sculpture fiber colour, but the hats are assorted, meaning you will receive your chosen cria with a randomly selected hat. We like to think the llamas dressed themselves based on their unique style and preference :)

It measures 20cm (8 inches) tall, 36cm (14 inches) at its widest point and stands on its own with a 12cm (5 inch) deep flat base. It comfortably holds a medium-sized 4-5skein project, such as a light cardigan or scarf.

Inner Pocket: 19cm (3.5 inches) x 13cm (5 inches) [/size][#other]Care: wipe clean with a damp cloth. Simply dip a small hand towel or cleaning cloth into warm water and rub any marks off the cork surface. You can add a bit of soap to the water mixture if just water isn't enough. Alternatively you can also use baby wipes. Let it dry naturally and in a horizontal position so that it keeps its shape.

[#other]For the yarn: hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. For the bag: as cork is a natural wood material, it can be susceptible to some cracking with long-term use. Applying cork sealant to the exposed cork helps to prevent it from drying out. We don't do this to our personal cork bags as we find that they uphold quite well, but if you live in a dry climate or feel that it's getting dried out, give cork sealant a try. You can find it in most shoe shops that carry cork footwear, like Birkenstocks or on Amazon.[/other]
