This interchangeable case is designed specifically for Chiaogoo needle sets. It’s compatible exclusively with our Mini Binder and is not designed for use with the full-format Needle or Crochet Binders.

While intended to sit inside the Mini Binder, it also functions beautifully as a standalone case. When used on its own, hidden magnets in the flap attract to the metal rings on the page itself, helping protect your needle tips. (Note that when the page is inside your Mini Binder, the protective flap lays naturally, without the magnets being engaged).

Inside, you’ll find an ample zippered pocket for cords, stoppers, connectors, and keys—or even an extra Velcro tab for more needles. A single Velcro tab with elastic loops holds your interchangeable needle tips snugly in place. It’s labeled with both US and metric sizes, and can be easily replaced as your collection evolves. All velcro tabs are interchangeable with our full-format Needle and Crochet Binder Pages, so you can easily shift your most-used tools to the Mini Binder when crafting on the go. Thoughtfully designed and made to last, it’s a flexible, travel-friendly storage solution that grows with you.

Leather Care Guide

For minor nicks and scratches, gently wipe the leather in a circular motion using a slightly damp, soft cloth or a wool felt buffer pad.

For advanced care, treat the leather with leather soap and wax for deep cleaning and conditioning. A complete Leather Care Kit and individual wool felt buffer pads are available for purchase.

Note that our Rose-colored crazy horse leather doesn't respond well to this treatment, so it's best to use a simple, very damp cloth on those items.

This is a gorgeous page but...

This is a gorgeous case/page. I only knock a star off because at least for the chiaogoo shorty trio page, this mini case will not stay closed on its own when loaded with needles. The magnets aren't sufficient. I imagine putting it in the mini binder would solve the issue but I was planning to use it solo as they say you can do so. Just a heads up for those thinking of using this page as a stand alone case.

Finally, my shorties stay in place. I should have bought that a long time ago. I don’t have the binder but it is perfect as a case easily put into a project bag. Beautiful craftsmanship, leather and colour. Really happy, looooove it. ❤️

I’m now thinking about the Interchangeables Page for Chiaogoo Needles for the small trio set, and am confused by the pictures and what exactly the difference is between the regular size and the mini size. I’m most likely going to use it on its own.

Thanks for reaching out! To clarify the difference, it all comes down to which binder you are using. The Full Size Interchangeable Page is designed to fit our full-size Binder but also is compatible with the Pattern Binder, while the Mini page is scaled down specifically for our smaller Mini Binder.

Since you mentioned you'll likely use it on its own, the Regular size offers a bit more room, but the Mini is perfect if you prefer a more compact, portable setup for your small trio set!

Can you use the shortie trio page as it's own case or do you need to purchase the binder?

Great question! All of our pages are designed to be used as standalone cases, so you can definitely use the Shortie Trio Page on its own.
While the Binder is a great way to keep everything organized in one place, it's not a requirement!
