The straps are attached with brass rivets (without stitches, just like the bag) for a more casual style.

Hi Brittney, The inside is really soft, like a micro suede texture, so it won’t rub or snag delicate yarn. You can also check out other project bags, like the Pop-Up Bag or Pochette, which are great for that kind of yarn too!
