This boxy tote stands on its own--open or snapped closed--on any surface. Wide straps allow the bag to sit comfortably on your shoulder (no matter how much you've stuffed inside). With 2 large pockets on the outside and 3 pockets on the roomy inside, you'll have space and place for all your notions, a Project Page, and a Stephen West-size shawlanket or two.
The inner walls of the bag are unlined, leaving the underside of the velvety leather exposed. Each tote comes with a small square wool felt pad that you can use to buff out any scuffs or scratches.
The simplicity of this design, combined with the luxurious quality of the leather and flawless craftsmanship, lends this tote its timeless elegance. Handcrafted in 3 classic shades, the Boxy Tote goes with just about anything!
Each bag is handmade in Ukraine with our signature Crazy Horse leather, specifically chosen for its sought-after aging qualities, like the characteristic caramelization of the colour and development of a unique patina. Hi! What's the leather thickness? Is the bottom reinforced? Can yarn pick up color or suede fibers inside since the bag has no smooth lining?

The leather thickness is 1-2mm, allowing the bag to keep its shape beautifully. The bag itself is reinforced for structure, but it does not have metal feet on the bottom. The interior features the natural reverse side of the leather; we have never received complaints about color transfer or shedding, though we always recommend protecting your projects as a general precaution.

Hi Susan! The dimensions of the boxy tote are L x W x H (excluding straps): 30cm x 19cm x 25cm (12" x 7 1/2" x 10"). The arm drop is 24cm (9.5").
Any chance this will ever come in Rose? Maybe in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month? All of my T&M tools are Rose and I’d be so thrilled to have this gorgeous tote to carry them!
