I use both the mini and small needle size markers on my DPN pages, and they work together perfectly. The different sizes give me flexibility depending on the needles, and everything stays clearly labeled and easy to find. The chocolate leather is a beautiful contrast against my whisky pages, which makes the sizes stand out at a glance while still feeling cohesive. Like all Thread and Maple pieces, these feel intentional and well made. It’s one of those small organizational details that really elevates the whole experience and helps me honor my craft with tools that feel thoughtful and lasting.

Hard to see the needle size and difficult to attach
A great idea.
Numbers that are embossed on the chocolate leather cannot be read. I even tried a variety of ways to make them legible (3 mm leather marker to fill in the embossed portion and an acrylic water based leather paint to "wash" them on the outside of embossing to see if it would make them readable. No luck. Will have to find some other way to make my DPN sizes quickly identified. Love the page in my binder, just not the size markers.
I wish these were customizable. I bought the small set because that covers most of my needles, but I'm missing a 2.5, and why is there no 3.0 at all? Also, why are there 7 when the DPN case holds 8 sets of needles?

Before I saw these, and ordered them, I was using cut out pieces of paper in my needle wallet.

Although this would be a great help to the needle pages, I am glad I only purchased one set. The markers are so difficult to read, I need to use the magnifying tool on my phone to see what they say
These are a great addition to my binder, however there is no marker for size 3mm needles! This doesn't make sense to me, as this is a very common size needle in a kit (I would even need 2 markers for this size!). I hope this is corrected, because my binder is unfortunately incomplete, which is a shame. Such a big investment, and these products are otherwise of impeccable design and quality.
These are great, and they work really well to mark the sizes in the binder, but it is very frustrating that there is no marker for the US 2.5/3 mm needle size. Seems like a glaring omission, but otherwise the sets are great!

What is the difference between the Large, Mini and small sets. And what sizes are included in the 7 piece sets.

Thank you so much for reaching out! The Mini set includes very small sizes (US 00000–1.5 / 1–2.5 mm), the Small set covers mid-range sizes (US 2–8 / 2.75–5.0 mm), and the Large set includes larger needles (US 9–17 / 5.5–12.0 mm).

Why is there no set that includes a 3mm marker? It’s a very common needle size, yet it is missing from this very nifty accessory. I would even need more than one!
Hi Stephanie, Our design venture initially focused on sets that didn’t include that measure, as seen with our popular ChiaoGoo Complete sets. However, we’re now incorporating new sets that feature those measurements, like the ChiaoGoo Forte. We appreciate your feedback and will definitely take it into account for future releases.

What is the best way to attach these in your experience? Trying to ensure I attach them in the best way to keep them in place! :)
Hi Holly! We would recommend to clip them on with the smaller part of the paper clip at the back of the pocket. You can slip the little circle onto the bottom-most ring of the clip if you would like some more wiggle room and be able to push the clip down further on the pocket, but they should be tight enough to hold! Take a look at the zoom pic of the product there for the ideal way they should look/be attached
