Pochette en Cuir

I’m in love with this bag. As I was showing it off to my friends, a couple commented that it doesn’t look like the typical project bag.Tucking it under my arm and it looks like a purse. The colours are rich and luxurious. In a pinch, toss your project and add your essentials. There’s another buckle/loop to make it into a crossbody or shoulder bag.
The magnet closure is very strong. I’ve stuffed the pouch full and it stayed shut.

I just opened my box 25 minutes ago and I’ve already put my first project inside. This is so gorgeous, the leather is stunning, the color (Camel) is stunning and it is a perfect size. I hope you do an actual knitting bag in the same color. It is fabulous, thank you!

The leather Pochette is so beautiful. I haven’t used it for my knitting yet but I have used it as a purse. It holds a surprising amount. The quality is top notch!

The clutch arrived quickly and packed well. It fits one 127g/4.5 oz skein of yarn and the On the Go leather notions with room for my phone, keys and glasses.

Only wish the inside zip matched the whiskey leather rather than white.

Such a beautiful way to bring my work in progress on the go.

Love this bag ! It carries a small project plus accessories. I’ve also used it to go out at night when I just need a few items. It’s soft & I love that it closes so well. Highly recommend this bag for its beauty & its usefulness.

I love this bag for its stylish look and function. It can store so much in terms of my knitting notions and projects. I love the magnetic closure as I don’t have to worry about snagging my knitted project! I added the crossbody strap so that I can wear it hands-free and knit on the go.

It’s a beautiful small bag. I wish it was just a smidge bigger. Not a lot just enough for a shawl project.

Beautiful leather and nice workmanship. As a leathercrafter, I do wish they burnished the edge where the bag opens though, and made the cut a bit cleaner. The leather is such high quality that little details like this would make it a notch better.

I know this said it is for a 2 skein project but I was bigger because I like knitting sweaters! It is otherwise perfect for small projects like hats, socks, small cowls, etc.

I was thinking it would be a perfect size as a purse (since I got the crossbody strap as well), and the size is indeed perfect. However, the magnetic closure isn't secure enough for a purse and frequently opens when carried crossbody.

I also thought that I could use this as knitting "bowl" of sorts, and it's possible but only when the bag is open. When closed, the magnet cinches it tightly so yarn won't pull thru freely.

Overall a lovely piece and of the quality I expect from Thread and Maple, but not as useful as I had hoped for.

This bag is a stunner! Everywhere I've taken it, I've gotten compliments. Not only does it hold my projects, but it acts as a beautiful purse too. There is nothing better than Thread and Maple out there!

Finely crafted with magnets to keep it closed, a wrist strap for when you need your hands free, and sized just right for a small project. I waited to order the shoulder strap 'til later, and immediately wished I'd purchased it along with the pochette. It is everything I wanted, and sturdy enough to last a lifetime with proper care.

Such a beautiful cross body bag, and the perfect size for a sock project and a phone (all one needs these days!), whilst still looking like a classy handbag.
If you did a bigger cross body bag, I would probably buy that too.

I liked everything about the bag except the color. I thought denim would be a shade of blue, but it is gray. I wish I had stuck with Whiskey leather, the color of my other Thread and Maple products.
I do like the tassel and strap. I have not used the bag yet.

It's the perfect size for socks. I always have a sock project in progress and use this as my grab and go knitting.

The leather is too prone to scratches. Love the design

This bag is amazing! I bought this bag with the strap and tassel for a small knitting project. I just used it on a 5 hour flight with a connection. It was so easy to sling over my shoulder. Plenty of room for my phone and small wallet with ID and card. easy in/our with magnetic closure. I wil likely purchase another color! Love, love, love this bag. I fell in love with the Pochette last year, and now I've ordered it, with a shoulder strap. In whiskey, this color is incredible! The leather is one of the best I have ever touched, soft and wonderful. Thank you for this bag (I think I'll go out with this beauty).

This is such a perfect bag when knitting socks! I just throw the bag over my shoulder and off I go. It can fit a couple of skeins of yarn and the socks you’re working on, or a full skein of yarn and a couple of mini or small skeins and your sock project. It closes shut, and the yarn comes out between the magnetic closures. It’s been great to travel with. I’ve tried so many different small, and costly, bags over the years for my small projects and hadn’t found one I liked until I came across this. It would be nice to have a bigger bag like this for slightly larger projects.

Seriously, Thread & Maple Team, how can you create such a gorgeous pochette? I’ve only had it for about two weeks but do not want to miss it anymore. It comfortably fits small(ish) projects and is nice to carry with the additional straps, also on bike rides. Also, I confess to using it as a small handbag. The craftsmanship and care that went into its creation is outstanding, as is the luxurious leather. Packed and shipped carefully and with attention to detail, including a sweet treat. Not a project bag like all the others, but a favourite. Nice also the separate pockets on the inside for small things. In use for knitting socks.
