My Fatherland Tote in whisky arrived today!! after waiting since jan 29.... I am SO happy. This tote is stunning. I love the color... rich rusty brown, the quality of the leather is substantial and yet soft and malleable. the art work etching is beautiful and on both sides..the artisanship of the tote is excellent.
two nice size slip pockets on the outside and 3 pockets on the inside. One side has a large pocket and the other side has a medium and a slender pocket... perfect for notions, phone keys, wallet... and still plenty of room for yarn and pattern.. and BEST OF ALL my new notions clutch... easily fits inside and does not take all the room...
could not be happier I purchased these items. I did think twice because it was a lot of money for me... but it was so well spent. the quality for money is outstanding. and the hours of joy and use from these 2 items alone are well worth the purchase price..
If you are wondering and not sure... I cannot recommend the notions clutch highly enough and the Fatherland tote too. thank you Kathy Nash

It is perfect. It is gorgeous and I’m using it (for now( to hold all my Thread & Maple products. Perfect design and an ideal size. It’s sturdy and beautiful! Everything about Thread & Maple, from customer service to products, is superb!
I absolutely love my fatherland tote. Haven’t stitches the beautiful cowl yet. Like everything I have purchased from thread and maple the quality and design is wonderful.
Wide enough to easily see what is in the bag and it holds enough for a whole sweater. I did not get the pattern, but that's okay since I just wanted the tote. My scissors were damaged in shipping, but I got a replacement pair really fast.
Beautiful hand crafted leather tote with a a wide bottom, perfect for yarn or books. My cowl is almost done and is a beautiful tribute to Ukraine. I love that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF and earmarked for Ukrainian children.

The chocolate-colored leather is rich and deep and the leather is so sturdy. I love the design on the outside pockets and appreciate all the pockets, inside and out.
I love everything about the Fatherland Tote. It’s quality, colour, size, feel. I haven’t used the pattern yet but will soon.
It holds every thing I need to have on hand..my needle binder, my project notebook book my bottle of water and the project bag…Perfection
