I have been knitting for more years than I am willing to admit to. I have always used any old scissors. While knitting with a group of friends recently I borrowed a friend’s scissor. What a difference. I bought these scissors at Maryland Sheep and Wool. What a difference!

Compact, sharp

Cute. Fit perfectly.

Very cute, sturdy and portable! I got the cover with it and they fit in my notions bag perfectly.

You can tell that they have good construction and weight to them.

I love the feel and the wide finger holes make it easy to use. Cuts well and will be my go-to pair in my notions bag.

I purchased these scissors and a leather case for them. I love the colour and design of the scissors, just wish they were a little sharper. The cut thread and wool yarn no problem, just not as sharp as I would like them for weaving yarns such as silk and linen. The leather sheath is well thought out and really well made.

These are fantastic. I got them along with my Notions Clutch, and it’s great to have a permanent space for scissors whilst I’m working on a project. I was always losing track of my scissors before getting this gem.

I got this for my wife and it’s so nice! She absolutely loves it.

I love my scissors, they are a bit bigger than my “On the Go” scissors, but the same great feel and sharpness. The cork is beautiful, couldn’t be happier.

The scissors work quite well. The only thing I would recommend is the cloth bag for the whole leather kit is too narrow and therefore difficult to put the kit into. I put my kit in the bag to protect it. If it was wider it would be so much easier to put it in the bag.

They are my take anywhere scissors as they are small enough to fit in my handbag, I also purchased the cover case as well, awesome products.

I got both sizes and the leather sheath. The sheath is the bomb. Exquisite and the leather is top quality. The mini scissors look great and cut to the tip. The embroidery scissors look great but did not perform well. The looked had a burr, the yarn travelled down the blade instead of cutting and at times even twisted or caught on fingering weight yarn.
While I was not satisfied with the scissors, I was beyond satisfied with Thread and Maple’s customer service.
Buy the scissors. I hope you love them. If not, I trust you will have the same extraordinary customer service experience I had.
