This tab fits 11 interchangeable knitting needle tip pairs and has multiple slots of the following needle sizes embossed:

  • 2.75mm (x2), 3.25mm, 3.5mm, 3.75mm (x3)
  • US 2 (x2) 3, 4, 5 (x3)

It was not originally designed to fit a specific needle set, but was instead designed to fit all the spares of your favorite sizes.

Individual tabs are a great way to build a new page for your Needle or Crochet Binder that fits exactly what you need. You can also update a page you already have to fit a new needles or hooks set.

Page Fit for 5" Tab

A tab that is 5"/12.5 cm long will only comfortably fit at the top of a page, in a vertical or horizontal orientation. If placed at the bottom of a page in a horizontal orientation, tips longer than 4"/10 cm will block the zipper pocket. We do not recommend placing the tab at the bottom of the page in a vertical orientation, because the zipper pocket will be completely blocked.

Al my spare needle tips in one place? In order and easy to find in the binder? Yes, please! Maybe this will keep my from buying needles in sizes I already own? One can only hope!!

The magnet is not strong enough to hold a piece of paper on the pattern binder. I’m not sure if it’s the magnet in the pattern binder or the magnetized 6” ruler and the magnifier ruler. Neither are strong enough to hold a single piece of paper. I love the organizer binder and inserts I’ve bought (8 inserts so far)

I have a mix of spare needles mostly Chiaogoo but also bought a couple of quads. Will these fit in this tab?

Hi Nancy, Yes, they will fit. The shape of the needles is not relevant here—so long as the needle size is the same and the length is less than 6", they will fit in the tab perfectly.
