Amazing Yarn!

I received my yarn today and haven’t used it yet but I can hardly wait to start my project. The color is even prettier than I anticipated and it feels wonderful. I know my project will turn out perfectly.

Beautiful yarn and I’m looking forward to using it!

Soft and will be delightful to work with and wear. A wonderful sample was knitted up at Knit City and really inspired me.

Softness

Love the softness of the yarn. The colors are very rich! I didn't cast on yet but I'm sure that I will be very happy with it. Thanks.

This yarn looks lovely! I see that it is $39 per skein, and is 400 yards per 100 grams. Does this mean that each skein is 100 grams?

Customer

Hi Julie, Yes, that's correct! Each skein is 100 grams and contains 400 yards of yarn.

I recently purchased 2 hanks of City Lights. I’ve decided to use it for a different project and need another hank of yarn….just not sure if I want a contrast or a yarn that would blend. Can you give me recommendations for both? Thanks, Linda

Customer

Hi Linda, it really depends on your project and personal preference. Personally, I’d go for a color that blends well, like Magnolia or Mole Creek. I’d suggest skipping Esk, as it’s not my top choice for blending. Options for contrast are limited due to the wide range of colors in this yarn, so it’s a bit tricky to suggest a contrasting color.

I am hoping to buy some blue moon yak yarn- do you have a color you can recommend to knit this as either a blend or contrast?

Customer

Hi Karen, A good color to contrast with Blue Moon is Gold Finch. It will create a stunning combination for your project!

I have a project with 2 colors, would Gold finch compliments Rock Pool or is there a suggestion to match with Rock Pool ?
It's for fingerless gloves.

Customer

Hi Francine! That's a perfect combination! Gold Finch would definitely complement Rock Pool nicely! The combination would be stunning for your project.
