Like all Thread and Maple items, this binder goes over and beyond spectacular craftmanship! I love how versatile it is - fold it and use it as a sturdy stand for your pattern or unfold it and use it to hold different pattern pages in the binder rings. With added details like a pocket, it is an excellent choice! I just wish I would have purchased the ruler at the same time - it's on my wishlist! :)
I love my pattern binder even more than I thought, if that is even possible. I can keep my place with the magnetic ruler on my pattern, I can add my rare earth magnets from Lee Valley to hold my row counter and a cable needle. All this wrapped up in a beautiful leather. And, oh yes it had a surprise for me by holding my binder project page! Thank you so much for such a wonderful item and be able to support workers in Ukraine.

Like all the Thread and maple stuff, this binder is well made, will be durable and so useful
This is my third purchase of a pattern binder (different designs/different companies) and this is the best, by far! Obviously a lot of thought went into the design. A binder so you can keep all the pattern pages together (whether you use page protectors or punch holes in your pages) the pen loops, the piece on the back where additional papers can be slipped into. And you can add a Notions Page to it. I love it!
It's sturdy and I really like the deisgn.
As every other product that I bought from Thread & Maple this so obviously too was made with crafters in mind. I love how it works perfectly, so easy to just attach your markers with magnetic place holders, use a magnetic ruler to keep your pattern in place an keep track where you are. I could go on and on about how great this pattern binder is and how beautifully this product is put together. I can totally recommend it! You will LOVE it!

Well made, beautiful leather binder!
Look, I could have used a regular three ring binder and set up some kind of more affordable chart holder. But this binder is gorgeous and functional and I'm a sucker for a good beautifully made tool. I keep all my active patterns in here, and then I prop whatever chart or pattern page I'm using up while I knit. Its a gorgeous tool and I high recommend it.
the binder is lovely but sadly doesn’t work with my standard knitting ruler. Product should be sold with the ruler that does work as opposed to finding out afterwards that an additional
cost has to be incurred.

Our binders are designed to work with our rulers specifically, as they use stronger magnets. Unfortunately, most standard knitting rulers or loose magnets aren’t strong enough to hold securely inside the binder, which is why they don’t function as intended.
That said, we completely understand how frustrating it can be to discover this afterward, and your point is very valid. So beautiful. I love the leather and so well made. One thing is the magnets are not strong enough for using the ruler guide.

Tried to get the magnetic ruler, but out of stock. Would have been great to have one included with the binder. Still using my trusty clip board with a normal ruler until I can get the magnetic one.
This item would be perfect if it only had a zipper pocket to store notions and a pen or pencil to track progress on the pattern.

While this item doesn’t have a built-in pocket, you can definitely customize it by adding any of our pages like the Catch-All, Project Page, or Notions Page to store your tools. Plus, there are two slots on the sides designed for a pen or pencil, so you’ll still have everything you need at hand! 😊
