Seconds Sale

It is not. The item is not yours until you've completed your checkout. While we completely sympathize with the frustration of being cart-jacked (been there 🙋‍♀️), first come first served is the only way we can keep it fair.

We have carefully classified, grouped and photographed items that have similar issues. The groups are numbered and corresponding photos are labelled with their group ID. For example 01 might be 'Scuffs and markings on leather' and 02 might be 'Snaps issues' where a snap either doesn't open/close easily or does so a little too easily. Items where the issue is very minor are discounted 20% and major issues are discounted 40%. You will find a brief overview of issues of each group in the product description of that item. Some items may be discounted higher if we have a lot of them or lingering stock from last year.

Note that Interchangeable Needles & Crochet Hooks Pages will be sold piecemeal. You'll need to purchase the page backing (e.g. Page 1 Zip, Page 2 Snap, Page 9 Mini Rolodex) and the velcro tab(s) to go with the backing to fit your needle/hook set separately. You can choose to get a seconds tab (we have lots!) or a non-seconds - simply search 'velcro tabs' using search icon in the top right corner and you'll see them all. This is a once a year super sale. So that means you won't see another Seconds Sale until August 2026.

A Seconds piece is an item that didn't pass our rigorous quality inspection for one reason or another. A minor scratch, a missing detail, a messy stitch or finicky hardware are some examples of reasons why an item might not make the cut. These items are still functional, if only uniquely imperfect.
