At Thread & Maple, we have been touched by the war in Ukraine on a very personal level. I (Olga), was born in Ukraine and have family there. It breaks my heart to see the devastating effects of the war on Ukrainian cities, families and schools.
Our team at T&M has unfortunately been impacted by this crisis directly as well. Each one of our leather pieces is handcrafted by our young and talented leather artisan team in Lviv. When the war first broke out, our workshop there had to close. Thankfully, the studio located in the Western-most major city and our team remains safe and sound.
We are so grateful to be part of such an empathetic and caring community, to be able to raise funds for this cause, which is so close to our hearts.
