If you'll be using the envelope as gift wrap for your hand-knit: hats, socks, mittens, baby items, and fingering-weight or finer cowls and shawls will fit beautifully. If you're not sure, here's a good way to gauge whether your item will fit:
- Place an A4 (8.5 x 11") piece of paper on a flat surface
- Fold your knitted item and place it on top of the paper, so that there is about 1/2" of white showing behind it on all sides
- Measure the height of the folded piece. If it's 3" or less, you're good!
