Wow, we are so overjoyed with results of our little fundraiser/giveaway!

This very special collaboration between Thread & Maple, Karina Moore from Australia's Louie & Lola Yarns and designer Tracie Millar, turned out to be even more amazing than expected!

Together with the Go PINK bundle purchase contributions, your donations, and Louie & Lola's incredibly generous $5,000 AU donations match, we jointly raised C$10,700 for breast cancer research!

The North American BCRF received a total of C$2,510 / USD$2,035, while the Australian NBCF received a whopping AUD$8,791!! You can see our bcrf fundraiser page here and Louie & Lola's here :)

Our Go PINK or Go Home Bundles sold out in 24hrs!

The lucky winners of our daily hand-knit shawl raffles were:

  • Amber McCormick from AB, Canada
  • Cheryl Ahola from ON, Canada
  • Susan Post from FL, USA
  • Tami Lancaster from OH, USA

And the grand prize Go PINK Bundle went to Christine Bartolic from the US! Congratulations Christine!

We also drew a surprise runner-up Rose Needle Holder Slip prize winner: Sarah Fabian from Tasmania, congrats Sarah!

We would like to thank Tracie for sharing her beautiful Coffee Talk sock pattern and helping us to spread the word via the very popular and very awesome Grocery Girls Knit podcast!

And a big big thank you to Karina, who hand-dyed those gorgeous pink skeins and brought together the Australian crafting community to make up the big bulk of the contributions! Not to mention Louie & Lola's massive $5,000 donation match contribution - wow!

And last but not least, we'd like to extend a massive THANK YOU to all of you who participated and helped to raise awareness for this very worthy cause.

We hope that through efforts such as this, the tenacious scientists and researchers working in breast cancer research, may come just a little bit closer to developing a cure. 🎗️
