Pop Up & Sock Up Supports the Lionheart Foundation
It’s estimated that 33% of adolescent girls and young women face anxiety disorders leading to depression, eating disorders, addiction, self-harm, and OCD. Lionheart helps train capable mental health professionals in this arena and provides support to these teens and their families through education and financial aid. The Lionheart Foundation strives to empower adolescent girls and young women to achieve strong mental health and well-being so that they can overcome past self-harming behaviors to live healthy, productive lives with positive relationships.
Many of us use knitting as a tool for positive mental health and we are proud to stand alongside Lionheart in their aim to help more young women find a safe refuge from anxiety.
