We're looking for 2 people to help us manage our social media and B2B client relations and we would absolutely love to find some fellow makers to join our small team.  Social Media Manager

We are hiring a social media manager

We would be looking for 10-15 hours/week of your time, with a least 2-3 EST daytime workweek hours, the rest is up to you.

In this position you will play a hands-on role in taking ownership of social media campaigns through ideation, execution, and reporting. Our ideal candidate knows everything about social media marketing best practices and has excellent communication both with the team and with our online community.

You can write captions, create frame-by-frame reel scripts, schedule social media posts, and respond to comments and DMs across our various social media channels. You will analyze and review the state of our social media outreach across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, & Pinterest--choosing the best of our organic posts to turn into ads and set up paid social campaigns.

From time to time, you will create digital content yourself, which means you are no stranger to product photography and not shy to be on camera. With an appetite for innovation, in one moment you will be analyzing early trend audio and in the next, you’ll be creating reels to lead the way.

In this role you will:

  • Own our social media channels; including creation of image and video posts, caption writing, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Write engaging, on-brand copy and create well-structured, SEO-driven captions.
  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to support new product launches, collaborations, and special events.
  • Build and maintain an social media marketing calendar.
  • Analyze post engagement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Engage with commenters and related brands to foster connection.
  • Manage paid social campaigns using Facebook Business Manager.
  • Stay on top of new trends in social media best practice, content and strategy.

The qualifications and experience we like to see:

  • Have 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in social media marketing & management.
  • Extensive experience working with all social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest - including functionality, data collection, native practices, and creation of dynamic content.
  • A skilled wordsmith who knows how to engage readers and drive action through captions.
  • Analytically driven, with proven success in translating data into insights and action.
  • Understand how to think through the customer journey that surrounds the social media experience.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different people.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Interest and knowledge of knitting/crochet/crafts

B2B Account Manager

We are hiring a B2B accounts manager

We would be looking for 20-35 hours/week of your time, with a least 2-3 EST daytime workweek hours, the rest is up to you.

In this position you will play a hands-on role in taking ownership of wholesale accounts through lead generation, outreach, onboarding, and creating marketing materials for in-store sales. Our ideal candidate knows all about B2B best practices and has excellent communication both with our internal team and with our wholesalers.

You will analyze and review the state of our B2B system and develop outreach initiatives as well as design and implement a seamless customer experience for our current B2B clients. 

You can design and create marketing packs for general use and on request for in-store sales. And create a tailored approached for VIP clients. 

In this role you will:

  • Onboarding new B2B clients
  • Developing and executing B2B marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Educating wholesale clients on our range of products
  • Creating in-store display and marketing materials for T&M products
  • Identifying and managing VIP's with a personal and tailored approach
  • Generating leads of shops that would be a great fit to stock our products and performing outreach initiatives
  • Maintaining B2B portal, including updating marketing pack, product releases, and support materials
  • Gathering feedback from wholesale clients and proposing improvements to our product line/sales processes
  • Open to attending occasional fibre festivals (expenses paid) to support shops stocking our products and introduce our products to new potential stockists

The qualifications and experience we like to see:

  • Have at least 3 years experience in the knitting industry and/or sales.
  • A skilled wordsmith who knows how to engage customers and drive order recommendations with tact.
  • Understands the needlecrafts industry and whether or not individual stores are a good fit for our products.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different people.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
